Ti Point Two 2010

An earthy, easy drinking dry red

Region : Grown on the small Ti Point peninsula,
Matakana Coast, hilly north facing slopes

Vinification
The grapes were hand picked, refrigerated then destemmed but not crushed. Two days cold soaking followed by six days fermentation and nine days post ferment maceration for further flavour and colour extraction. Aged in two, three and four year old French barrels for nine months. Blended and fined with egg white, filtered and cold stabilised before bottling.

Winemakers Notes
Bouquet of ripe cherries, dark chocolate and a hint of spice and leather. Supple integrated tannins offering length and persistence. A palate sweetness, balanced out with a soft acid. A great vintage for Ti Point; this is a well-balanced, enjoyable glass of wine.
